Narrator

Remote Contract Audio Production

Bring nonfiction books to life through professional narration. You will record and produce audiobook chapters using our production tools, working with a range of genres including science, history, self-help, and health. You know how to pace a 60,000-word book so it holds a listener's attention from chapter one to the end.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated audiobook or voiceover experience
  • Professional recording environment (treated room, quality microphone)
  • Comfortable narrating long-form nonfiction across multiple genres
  • Reliable turnaround on deadlines
  • Familiarity with DAWs and basic audio editing

Editor

Remote Contract Nonfiction

Review and refine nonfiction manuscripts for clarity, accuracy, and readability. You will work alongside our automated quality pipeline to catch what machines miss — structural issues, tone inconsistencies, factual gaps, and the kind of subtle problems that only a skilled human editor notices. Science, medical, and educational backgrounds are especially valued.

Requirements

  • Professional editing experience (developmental, copy, or both)
  • Strong background in nonfiction — science, health, history, or education preferred
  • Ability to evaluate manuscripts against a defined quality rubric
  • Comfortable working with automated editing tools and providing feedback on outputs
  • Detail-oriented with a fast, reliable turnaround

Designer

Remote Contract Book Covers

Create professional, genre-appropriate book covers that compete with traditional publishing quality. You will design covers using our AI-assisted art pipeline and apply expert typography, layout, and color theory to produce covers that sell books on sight. Every cover goes through vision AI validation and human review before delivery.

Requirements

  • Portfolio of book cover designs or equivalent commercial design work
  • Strong typography and layout skills for print and digital formats
  • Understanding of genre conventions across nonfiction categories
  • Comfortable iterating on AI-generated artwork and refining compositions
  • Proficiency in design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or equivalent)
